Review Pixy Aqua Beauty Protecting Mist -- The Cheapest Indonesian Prep and Setting Spray -- ENGLISH

Today I want to write a review product in English.
I hope for Indonesian friends, all of you who have mutual friends from other countries, could share (if you don't mind) to your friends and recommend this review as the guideline for them while they were in Indonesia and wanted to try Indonesian beauty cosmetic product.
Pixy is a brand that under licensed Mandom from Japan.
Some people think that it is 100% local brand, but no, Pixy is not a 100% local brand.
Pixy, as one of famous cosmetic brands in Indonesia, release one of beauty protecting mist named Pixy Aqua Beauty Protecting Mist.
This product is very famous in Indonesia since it is cheap and easy to be found.
Many beauty vloggers influence their fans to buy and keep this as their number one beauty mist.
And I'm the one who keep this Pixy product in my makeup pouch.
Let's jump into the review.
Packaging
It is hand-able, not big but slim enough to be put into the travel makeup pouch.
I love the blue colour one. It is eye-catching design also.
Some people tell that this product is not a travel friendly,
but I would say yes it is a travel friendly
because this product could be used as the prep and setting spray.
You will not bring many bottles and jars into your pouch, right?
Ingredients
Water, Butylene Glycol, SD Alcohol 40-B, PEG-50 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Citrate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, AMP-Acrylates Copolymer, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Fragrance, Citric Acid, Camelia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Hydroxyapatite, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.
So far, this product also contains aloe vera juice which is as the plus ingredient.
Aloe vera juice not only keep the face moist, but also make the makeup stay longer
(because of the thick and sticky texture)
And avoid this product to people who are sensitive with fragrance.
Claims
This product claims that helps in:
- keeping the face moist with hydra active formula,
- containing vitamin E and green tea extract as the antioxidant which means good to protect our face,
- makeup lock to keep the makeup long-last up to 10 hours,
- 0% alcohol which means good for all skin types.
Are those claims true? Let's move to my honest review
My Honest Review
First, it could keep my face moist, yes it is if you spray it more than twice
(the facts that you need time to product absorb into your skin).
Makeup lock?
Yassshh!
It reduces the powdery texture in my makeup and helps soften my makeup look.
Besides, I could tell you that these experiences will guide you to buy this product.
First experience
I did my makeup with my base was only wearing BB cream (and it is also from Pixy)
I wore this Pixy Beauty Protecting Mist after I finished my makeup at 1 p.m.
Then, you know? My makeup still stay in best performance at 7 p.m.
Second experience
I forgot to wet my beauty blend sponge before I did my job as makeup artist
Pixy Beauty Protecting Mist helped me in wetting the sponge and you know?
It really worked in blending the mixing foundation and added glowing look in matte foundation.
Yeah I could say yes it is good enough for this cheapest mist I've ever known <3
(-) The fragrance that contained in this product is very very strong.
I believe some people do not feel comfy when it is sprayed.
(-) As IMO it is a cheap product, never expect that the quality of spray same as the other drugstore makeup product like N*X, W**nW**, E*f. No!
